My wife and I were fortunate enough to get invited to the DR. Cabarete area last year. We stayed with friends whom have been coming to the DR for many years. It is extremely nice to have people who already know their way around in this non resort, truly cultural area. Which we love! Our friends introduced us to Brett Henry with RealtorDR. He was introduced to us as their friend not their Realtor. He also knows the area very well. We fell in love with this area on our first visit. Over the next year and a few more visits, we finally found a place for us. Brett and the RealtorDR team were with us every step of the way. Everyone has a different palette. This was our post one and half years and now we back on the hunt for a future retail store front with aspersions of one day making the DR more of a permanent home. We still love our second home and visit as often as possible. We have stayed in touch with the whole Realtor Dr team over the past year, so who better to help us in our search.
The Realtor DR team has expanded since our first purchase yet has not lost that personal touch that my wife and loved about them. They listen and that’s a lost art these days.
Brett and Robert introduced us to Hennah P. Another realtor on their team to help in our search. We didn’t really have a timeline but were prepared to act if something was available
We had a couple must haves, like budget and location. I looked around from the US on the internet and found it to be impossible to find commercial property that met our specifications.
I reached out to Brett told what we were thinking and he teamed up with Hennah. They found a half a dozen shops In our price range. These shops are word of mouth and not on the internet. The one we eventually purchased wasn’t even for sale. Hennah tracked down the US based owner and we made an offer. 5 days later we closed and got our keys to our future.
