Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, Carinne first fell in love with the Dominican Republic in 2014 while spending seven months working on the beach in Cabarete and volunteering at a school in La Cienega. After years of traveling, attending university, and working internationally, she knew the DR was where she truly belonged and made it her permanent home in 2023. As a Real Estate Advisor at Realtor DR, Carinne is passionate about building meaningful connections—serving as a bridge between the local community and those looking to make this incredible place their home.
With a degree in Human Rights and a background in international work, research, and development, Carinne has gained valuable experience in Uganda, India, Botswana, Vietnam, and the DR. While each place has shaped her, the vibrant community, lifestyle, and sense of freedom in the Dominican Republic made her decision to stay an easy one.
Fluent in English and French, Carinne also speaks some Spanish, allowing her to connect with clients from around the world.
